1. Be healthy and strong: Must pass physical fitness tests
2. Get training: Go to fire academy (several months)
3. Get certified: Learn first aid, CPR, and fire safety
4. Apply: Apply to fire departments in your area
Being a firefighter is dangerous and physically demanding. You work long shifts (24-48 hours!), and you see scary situations. But if you want to be a hero and help people, it's an amazing calling!
